Papandayan Mosto Natural is a specialty coffee variant from the slopes of Mount Papandayan, Garut, West Java processed using a unique fermentation method. The name "MOSTO" comes from Spanish, meaning "MUST", which refers to the juice extracted from fruit before it turns into wine. This technique adapts fermentation principles from wine making, resulting in a more complex and distinctive coffee flavor.
Coffee from Papandayan originates from the slopes of Mouth Papandayan in Garut, West Java. This region is well known for its fertile volcanic soil, which creates ideal condition for growing high quality coffee. Papandayan coffee is typically Arabica, cultivated at elevation between 1.200 - 1.700 meters above sea level. giving it a distinctive flavor profile.
Papandayan Fullwashed is a specialty coffee from Mount Manglayang, West Java, grown at 1,300 to 1,600 meters above sea level. Using the full-washed method, it offers a clean profile with notes of sweet sugar cane, citric lemon, pear, and brown sugar.
